S3000L

ASD has been working on the specification for Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) since 2006. The final draft of the specification (version 0.1) was published in summer 2009.

S3000L was developed to standardize the requirements of the LSA process.

The development included the definition of interfaces to other specifications to use synergies. As a result, S1003X can be used to exchange data between S1000D^TM and S3000L.

The specification also describes the interface between contractor and customer, regarding:

• Formation / training
• Consumables
• Support / test equipment
• Infrastructure / facilities
