Information Management with GRIPS

CONDOK uses the information management system GRIPS of the STAR AG.

GRIPS is used to create a universal database, which consists of small re-usable information units. All departments of a company can be included, i.e. the responsibility for the topicality of the data can be shared by the corresponding departments (construction etc.).

The actual publication from the system is only a composition of data from the information pool of GRIPS. The desired information packages are arranged by linking them with regard to the target audience.

Due to the separate storage of data and layout, information can be published in different media (printout, CD-ROM, WWW etc.). When using GRIPS, information is thus stored independently from the later output medium, which is only determined by the publication type during the export.

CONDOK uses the benefits of the GRIPS system for the production of documentation in different media.
